During this webinar, the Center on Rural Innovation (CORI) shares how rural communities can foster local economic development through the growth of tech-based businesses and tech employment.

Walking through findings from its recent report about tech employment in rural America, a year-long project funded by Ascendium Education Philanthropy, CORI seeks to build foundational knowledge for rural leaders, local training providers, policymakers, and funders on how to create strategies to ensure that rural areas have a way to reap the economic benefits of contributing to the tech economy. The session also features a panel discussion with leaders already engaged in this work in Statesboro, Georgia, and a brief question-and-answer period.

We encourage you to view the session in the above video. The full report and presentation materials are available to review and download below.
