Open positions at Rural Innovation Strategies, Inc. (RISI)

RISI is the collaborating organization of the Center on Rural Innovation.

  • This role will be responsible for developing, planning, budgeting, and implementing marketing and communications strategies across the entire organization, and will work collaboratively across teams and serve their evolving communications and marketing needs.
  • This role is responsible for the creation and execution of new programs and products for rural communities building tech entrepreneurship ecosystems. The ideal candidate brings experience in related fields as well as managing internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • This role will develop and execute on a strategy for accessing federal funds to accelerate tech-based economic development for rural communities, provide federal grant application support expertise to rural communities, and lead a growing federal grant support team.
  • This role will independently lead client projects, delivering high-quality client services to a variety of public sector leaders as they move from initial ideation, through pre-development and feasibility, through funding acquisition and finally into construction.
  • This role will lead consulting and technical support activities, managing and developing a team of 13-plus to execute client work at the highest level and evolve CORI/RISI’s service offerings in a way that supports our mission and drives our next stage of growth.
  • This role will independently lead client projects, delivering high-quality client services to a variety of public sector leaders as they move from initial ideation, through pre-development and feasibility, through funding acquisition and finally into construction.
