Open positions at Rural Innovation Strategies, Inc (RISI)

RISI is the sister organization of the Center on Rural Innovation.

  • The new Director of People Operations and Culture will launch and manage a comprehensive human resource function for CORI and RISI's rapidly growing team, and have the appropriate experience to support our diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
  • We are looking for a seasoned and dynamic leader who can design and maintain our financial infrastructure and provide meaningful input into our rapidly evolving organizational strategy.
  • The Director of Consulting will be an exceptional strategist and manager, with the capacity to grow and solidify impactful consulting practices and deeply committed to our mission to transform rural communities.
  • The Research Fellow will work on a multidisciplinary team, working closely with our Mapping and Data Analytics team to convert data analysis into compelling data visualizations that will inform the public and policymakers.
  • The Research Associate will be responsible for conducting both quantitative and qualitative research, as well as identifying and analyzing existing sources of data and literature to support internal project teams and our consulting and grant-funded research.
  • The Data Visualization Developer will join our talented Mapping and Data Analytics team, and to help us continue to tell compelling rural stories through maps and visualizations.
  • The Broadband Consultant's knowledge and skills will bolster our growing team's efforts, which include which include aligning stakeholders, collecting data, estimating construction costs with high-level designs, and brokering partnerships and strategies.
  • The Broadband Analyst will need exceptional communication, project management, and strategic thinking skills to quickly understand the nuances to broadband deployment — the process, the terms, the policies, and the models that make sense for our communities.
