This role acts as a point of contact for Rural Innovation Network community members, addressing inquiries and providing assistance, provide logistical support to our multidisciplinary team of experts, and initiate efforts to cultivate collaboration and knowledge sharing.
The role will coordinate the activities of the Green Mountain Launchpad, a Vermont-focused startup catalyst providing resources to pre-seed startups in the state, and the Green Mountain Accelerator Fund, a $3 million early-stage investment fund.
This role supports the dual objectives of supporting tech entrepreneurs and facilitating tech-based economic development in rural communities, and involves a wide range of activities from engaging with investors to working with rural communities to grow tech economies.
Open positions at Rural Innovation Strategies, Inc. (RISI)
RISI is the collaborating organization of the Center on Rural Innovation.
This role requires a deep understanding of federal grant regulations and compliance, and contract law, coupled with at least five years of experience working within and overseeing the complete lifecycle of federal grants and corporate contracts.
This role will work across multiple client-facing projects and service offerings. Responsibilities vary by project but generally include development of deliverables (reports, memos, presentations), data gathering and analysis, monitoring trends, and managing small projects.
