Center on Rural Innovation Rings the Nasdaq Closing Bell

On August 28, 2026, the Center on Rural Innovation (CORI) rang the Nasdaq Closing Bell in Times Square, a moment celebrating the founders, leaders, and communities building the future of innovation across rural America.

CORI works with rural communities across the country to build strong tech economies, support scalable entrepreneurship, develop local talent, and create the conditions for new companies and ideas to grow.

We were honored to share this moment with Nasdaq and the Nasdaq Foundation, whose partnership is helping expand opportunities for the next generation of rural entrepreneurs.

Our hope is that this bell ringing is just the beginning, and that many rural founders will take this stage in the years ahead.
