Webinar: Understanding climate disaster resilience with BEAD

BEAD funding regulations stipulate that broadband deployments must take into account current and future climate risks, but don’t give much specific direction about how to do so. In this webinar, which occurred on Aug. 3, we explore our new Broadband Climate Risk Mitigation Tool.

This new tool combines hazard risk data with broadband access information to help state broadband offices, local public sector leaders, and BEAD subgrantees understand the likely impacts that disasters will have on telecommunications infrastructure down to the census block level — and how to encourage more resilient deployments during BEAD and beyond.
