Nodaway County Economic Development (NCED) is a public-private nonprofit organization supporting businesses and communities throughout Nodaway County. Founded in 1989, NCED works to recruit new businesses, help existing companies expand, encourage capital investment and job creation, and strengthen community vitality.

NCED also serves as an important resource for entrepreneurs, providing confidential assistance with business planning, financing, site selection, expansion, and connections to local, state, and federal resources. Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Maryville Chamber of Commerce works to advocate, connect, and promote on behalf of Maryville’s business community. Its approach begins by listening to business owners and founders, helping them work through ideas and challenges, and connecting them with the expertise and resources needed to move forward.

Supported by a network of volunteer business leaders, the organization gives entrepreneurs a relationship-based resource that can stay with them from an early idea through the challenges of operating and growing a business.
