How CORI’s Rural Innovation Network Summit connects rural leaders
What else can attendees of CORI’s annual Summit and Conference expect when the biggest week in rural innovation comes to Red Wing, Minnesota, this May?
The Center on Rural Innovation’s largest annual event, the Rural Innovation Network Summit, is a one-of-a-kind gathering for rural leaders committed to developing tech economy ecosystems in their communities. And this year we have extended our gathering to include the inaugural CORI Conference, which is open to the public.
During this exciting week, those attending “From ideas to impact: Empowering rural development through innovation” will explore ways to support scalable tech entrepreneurship, how to bridge the gap between tech careers and local skilling initiatives, and examine the latest data and research on issues related to rural development.
What else can attendees of “From ideas to impact” expect when the biggest week in rural innovation comes to Red Wing, Minnesota, this May?
We thought it would be best to let our Network members tell you themselves — and hope you’ll register today to join us for this year’s event:
Actionable and insightful programming
“Attending the Rural Innovation Network Summit was an incredibly rewarding experience last year. The diverse range of topics covered and the quality of speakers exceeded expectations, providing us with valuable insights and actionable strategies relevant to our startup center goals. The networking opportunities were invaluable, allowing us to connect with fellow industry experts who offered valuable guidance and support. Looking forward to the 2024 Summit in Red Wing, we are eager to further enhance our knowledge, expand our network, and gain new perspectives to enrich our startup center!”

A sense of community
“The work we do has no model, and hearing from other individuals doing similar work gives me actionable new ideas for the work I do in my community. Rural Innovation Network communities have given us so much valuable feedback, insights, and support for the programs that we run. The Red Wing team works hard for their area, and they have a vision for their community that I admire. I’m really looking forward to seeing that work in person.”

“The presentations and discussions are always inspiring and informative at the Rural Innovation Network Summit. But the networking and connections with other rural communities committed to rural innovation are invaluable and something I have deep gratitude for. I always bring back something that positively impacts our community and helps support the work we are doing to create opportunities and innovation in our community.”

“We are eager to glean impactful programming ideas, learn about opportunities in rural communities, and be inspired by this in-person peer summit intentionally designed by the CORI team to connect our Network. The Red Wing Ignite team has always been gracious in collaboration and information sharing, and we are truly excited to see it and feel it firsthand at this year’s Summit.”
