Agile Space Industries is proof that world-class innovation doesn’t need a coastal zip code to thrive. Built on deep technical expertise, disciplined execution, and an ambitious vision for the future of space technology, Agile has shown what’s possible when cutting-edge ideas are developed and scaled from rural America.

Closing out 2025 with remarkable momentum, the company demonstrated not just growth, but confidence—meeting complex technical milestones, expanding its capabilities, and strengthening its position in a highly competitive industry.

The company has kicked off 2026 with a bang; it recently closed a $17 million Series A round, bringing its total fundraising to approximately $40 million, positioning it to scale manufacturing and testing capacity while maintaining its hallmark on-time delivery performance. Notably, the company has been cash positive for the past 18 months, underscoring the strength of its operating model even before this growth capital infusion.

Agile’s success reflects a broader truth CORI sees every day: when talented rural teams are supported with the right capital, networks, and belief, they don’t just compete—they lead.

From Strong Growth to Strategic Scale

Over the past year, Agile Space Industries delivered substantial top-line growth while significantly expanding its commercial footprint. Demand accelerated well beyond internal targets, resulting in a robust backlog of approximately $60 million in contracted revenue, with new contract wins that could double company revenue this year, providing strong revenue visibility through this year and beyond.

Importantly, this momentum reflects not a single contract win, but a diversified and expanding customer base across commercial and government markets. Orders that once numbered in the dozens have grown to the hundreds and even thousands of propulsion units. This dramatic increase in volume reflects both the accelerating pace of the commercial space market and Agile’s reputation for delivering high-performance propulsion systems on time, every time.

The recently completed Series A round—led by Caruso Ventures and Howdy Partners, with participation from the CORI Innovation Fund — will serve as growth capital to expand manufacturing and testing capacity in response to surging demand. Combined with previously secured non-dilutive capital for infrastructure development, this financing reflects both investor confidence and disciplined capital efficiency.

Trusted by Global and National Leaders

A major milestone this year was Agile’s transition into a trusted supplier for multiple large aerospace and defense primes. New and repeat contracts span national security programs and international commercial space missions, underscoring both technical credibility and execution reliability

Highlights include providing propulsion systems for The Exploration Company’s Nyx spacecraft, supporting Firefly Aerospace’s lunar program through use of Agile’s test stands, and partnering with True Anomaly to supply engines, thrusters, and tanks for the Department of Defense’s VICTUS HAZE space domain awareness mission. The company is also participating in teams pursuing Golden Dome contracts for advanced space-based intercept capabilities, further evidence of its growing strategic importance.

As customer relationships deepen, the company is increasingly being brought into earlier phases of program planning—an indicator of strategic importance rather than transactional engagement.

Investing Ahead of Growth

As demand accelerates, Agile is investing ahead of growth to ensure it can deliver at scale without compromising performance or timelines. To support this rising demand, the team has made disciplined investments in manufacturing capacity, testing infrastructure, internal R&D, and new product development. These investments have been paired with meaningful job growth.

The team has grown from roughly 50 employees in 2023 to more than 130 today, reflecting the rapid scale of operations. In January, Agile broke ground on the first section of a major new test facility, which will not only expand Agile’s internal capacity but also provide testing capabilities to the broader aerospace market and create an additional revenue stream.

In addition to scaling thruster production and test stands, Agile is expanding its product portfolio. The company has developed a next-generation propulsion tank featuring an internal piston-to-stem design to prevent propellant sloshing, an innovation increasingly in demand as space missions require greater precision and maneuverability. Orders for these tanks are growing rapidly, opening new avenues for long-term product diversification.

Together, these investments signal more than growth. They reflect a company intentionally building the infrastructure, talent, and product depth required to lead in the next era of commercial and national security space missions.

Looking Ahead: A Pivotal Year

The coming year is expected to be the most ambitious yet. With multiple large programs ramping, new customers entering the pipeline, and additional facilities moving from design into construction, Agile is entering a classic scale-up phase—one that requires focus, operational discipline, and strong capitalization.

That foundation is firmly in place. The recently completed $17M Series A strengthened the balance sheet, welcomed a strong group of strategic investors, and marked a significant step forward in valuation and scale. With $60M in contracted backlog and expanding production capacity, Agile enters this next chapter positioned not just to participate in the new space economy—but to help define it. Management and the board remain aligned around a clear trajectory toward profitability and continued long-term growth.
